I have seen reviews before check in to this hotel. What i read is different than what i experienced. Room service is good. Only problem u will face here tv not working and landline not available It is very near to bus stop. Its nice hotel with better price.

Nice place and well connected to the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue is they don't have a dedicated parking place, however, they have space where we can park our vehicle in front of the hotel. They should change the contact number, as the number given in the website is not working.

My experience was horrible as these people literally cheated us. While I booked a double room in Nightshade Inn Residency for Rs. 5500 per night, they provided us a room in some dingy house and a small room without any amenities which may cost just few hundred bucks per night. When confronted about this, the owner Vishwanathan started shouting at us and without any concern about women, they asked us to get out if we don't like the room. Being a frequent traveler, I never came across such a situation in my life, even if it is high tourist season. They value money but not customer service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.. If there would have been a Zero star rating, I would have chosen that definitely. First time I visited Ooty with family it was amazing. Two days I booked the rooms at Nightshade through makemytrip, not enough photos available in website for Nightshade hotel so I contacted the hotel for more pictures before booking. Vishwanath hotel owner I guess, he sent me more photos of rooms and hotel and he is very good in communication with customers, room service also very good. It's near to Ooty railway station and bus stop it hardly can take five min by car or auto, One disappointment is no restaurant near by, I order food through hotel not worth and quality of food also not good.

Het hotel is slechts 6 maanden oud. Er zijn nog steeds luidruchtige bouwwerkzaamheden. Bij aankomst in onze kamer bleek het beddengoed niet verschoond. Handdoeken ontbraken. Die zouden we pas de volgende dag krijgen. Overal lag bouwstof. De kamer is niet groot. Voor twee personen met bagage eigenlijk te klein. De badkamer is netjes en ruim. De rpijs was te hoog voor het gebodene. Er is (nog) geen Wifi, alhoewel dat wel vermeldt wordt bij Booking.com. Wij hadden vier nachten geboekt, maar zijn na één nacht vertrokken. Wellicht dat, als de bouwwerkzaamheden klaar zijn en het personeel goed ingewerkt is dat het best wel een leuke plek is, maar zoals onze titel al zegt: Nu even niet.
